Clark Worswick is een Amerikaanse fotografisch historicus, verzamelaar en curator. Geboren in Berkeley, Californië, studeerde hij aan de Visva Bharati University in West-Bengalen, India, voordat hij uitgebreid reisde tussen India en Europa om beelden uit de 19e eeuw te verzamelen en te fotograferen. Hij was werkzaam als oprichtingscurator fotografie bij het Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, waar hij belangrijke collecties niet-westerse foto's cureerde. Worswick staat bekend om zijn wetenschappelijk werk over klassieke Indiase, Chinese en Japanse fotografie, waarbij hij vaak niet-Europese kunstenaars binnen deze historische contexten identificeert. Zijn publicaties hebben kritische lof ontvangen van belangrijke media zoals The New York Times en Time Magazine.[1,2,3]
