Clément Chéroux

Clément Chéroux is een Franse fotohistoricus en curator. Hij is momenteel werkzaam als Joel and Anne Ehrenkranz Chief Curator of Photography bij het Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. Voorheen bekleedde hij senior curatorsposten bij het Centre Pompidou in Parijs en het San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Chéroux heeft een PhD in kunstgeschiedenis aan de University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, waar zijn scriptie zich richtte op recreatieve vormen in de fotografie (1890-1940). Hij is tevens uitvoerend redacteur voor het tijdschrift Études photographiques en heeft talloze boeken geschreven over fotografen zoals Henri Cartier-Bresson en Louis Stettner.[1,2]
