Victor Vroomkoning (born Walter van de Laar) is a Dutch poet and writer born in Boxtel in 1938. He debuted in 1983 and has published numerous collections of poetry and prose. He served as the city poet of Nijmegen from 2006 to 2008. Vroomkoning's work is characterized by its lyrical exploration of landscape, memory, and human experience. He also publishes under the pseudonym Stella Napels. His literary career spans four decades, during which he has received various awards and served on several prestigious literary juries.[1,2,3,4]
