Bauhaus Photographie

Bauhaus photographie is a comprehensive exhibition catalogue curated by Christian Bouqueret. It was produced for the 14th Rencontres internationales de la photographie held in Arles from July 7 to September 30, 1983, and subsequently exhibited at the Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris between February and April 1984. The book features 88 black-and-white photographic reproductions exploring the visual language of the Bauhaus movement. It includes significant works by key figures such as László Moholy-Nagy, Josef Albers, Marianne Brandt, and Hannes Meyer. The publication serves as a scholarly record of the aesthetic contributions of photography to the Bauhaus school, providing both biographical information on the artists and a detailed bibliography of their photographic output.
