Ice and Water

Published in an edition of 500 to coincide with the exhibition at Cornerhouse and James Hockney Gallery 1993.
Ice and Water is an exhibition catalogue documenting a significant body of work produced by the British fine art photographer Peter Fraser during a six-week residency in Marseilles in the summer of 1990. This publication, released in 1993, marks the first time this specific series was exhibited and represents the artist's first solo exhibition in the United Kingdom since 1989. The work explores the fragile boundaries between imagination and reality, focusing on the space between and around objects through a particular form of color image making. The book includes ten color plates and is presented as a limited edition of 500 copies to coincide with the exhibitions at James Hockey Gallery in Farnham and Cornerhouse in Norwich.
