Photo Grids ; 1977

This book by conceptual artist Sol Lewitt is a typological study of various grid patterns found in architecture and other manmade structures. It features a series of "found" grids in 414 color photographs taken by Lewitt with a Rollei 110 camera. The images are arranged in nine-by-nine grids on forty-six pages, capturing patterns in window panes, fences, tiled floors, and metal bridgework.
