Delta. Poort van Europa (Delta, Gateway to Europe) is a significant photographic work by Dutch photographer Aart Klein, published in 1963. The book documents the construction and development of the Dutch Delta Works, which were designed as a gatekeeper for the European hinterland following the catastrophic flood disaster of 1953. It features black and white photographs that capture the landscape's transformation into a managed waterway system. This first edition is noted for its historical documentation of one of the largest engineering projects in the Netherlands.
