Alain Bergala

Alain Bergala (geboren in 1943) is een Franse filmcriticus, essayist, scenarist en regisseur. Hij is een belangrijke figuur geweest binnen de filmtheorie, onder meer als redacteur voor 'Cahiers du cinéma' van 1976 tot het begin van de jaren 2000. Hij wordt erkend als specialist in het werk van Jean-Luc Godard, Roberto Rossellini en Abbas Kiarostami. Naast film schrijft hij sinds 1976 uitgebreid over fotografie.[1,2,3,4]
