Elizabeth Bashore Brayer (1933–2017) was een Amerikaanse auteur en historicus gespecialiseerd in de geschiedenis van Rochester, New York, en het leven van industrialist George Eastman. Ze werkte als historicus bij de George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film, waar ze deel uitmaakte van de George Eastman Legacy- en Landscape-commissies. Ze is vooral bekend om haar definitieve biografie over George Eastman, 'George Eastman: A Biography', die voor het eerst in 1996 werd gepubliceerd en vervolgens werd genomineerd voor een Pulitzer Prize.
