Huang Chien-hung

Huang Chien-hung is een Taiwanese universiteitsprofessor, curator en dichter. Hij studeerde Chemie aan de Tunghai University in Taiwan voordat hij naar Parijs verhuisde, waar hij een PhD in Aesthetics behaalde aan de Sorbonne University (Paris VIII) onder begeleiding van Jacques Homsey. Sinds 2005 heeft hij verschillende academische functies bekleed aan universiteiten waaronder Shih Hsin University en National Kaohsiung Normal University. Momenteel is hij professor en directeur bij het Graduate Institute of Trans-disciplinary Arts aan de National Taipei University of the Arts (NTUA) en is hij tevens directeur van het Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts. Zijn onderzoeksinteresses omvatten image studies, esthetische theorie, hedendaagse kunsttrends, filosofie en curatoriële studies. Hij heeft werken vertaald van filosofen zoals Gilles Deleuze en Jean Baudrillard en heeft talloze tentoonstellingen gecureerd met een focus op film, performancekunst en transdisciplinaire media.[1,2]
