Michael E. Brown is een Amerikaanse academicus en politiek wetenschapper gespecialiseerd in internationale veiligheid, conflictresolutie en het buitenlands beleid van de VS. Hij heeft verschillende prominente academische functies bekleed, waaronder de functie van deken van de Elliott School of International Affairs aan de George Washington University van 2005 tot 2015.
