Taco Hidde Bakker is een Nederlandse schrijver, docent, vertaler en curator gespecialiseerd in fotografie. Hij heeft een MA in Photographic Studies aan de Leiden University behaald. Bakker heeft bijgedragen aan diverse artist's books, catalogi en tijdschriften zoals Camera Austria International en Foam Magazine. Hij is docent theorie voor fotografiestudenten aan de Utrecht University of the Arts. Zijn werk onderzoekt vaak de filosofie, politiek en kunst van lens-based media.
