The Table of Power is a gem-like artist's book and interior design typology by Dutch photographer Jacqueline Hassink. The work explores the balance of power conferred in private, public, and social settings, specifically focusing on the upper echelons of corporate culture. Using the 'Fortune 500' list, Hassink approached Europe's top forty companies to photograph their boardroom tables. Only 21 allowed a photograph to be taken; those that denied access are represented as black photographs. The book features 21 color photographs and 19 black double-page spreads, accompanied by text by Hassink, notes by Raoul Bunschoten, and a postface by Henri Peretz.
