American Photographers and The National Parks

American Photographers and The National Parks is a large-format studio book published in 1981 as an outgrowth of a photographic exhibition sponsored by the National Park Foundation. Curated by Robert Glenn Ketchum, the volume features text by Robert Cahn and a foreword by John L. Bryant Jr., who served as President of the National Park Foundation. The book showcases over 205 images by 35 different photographers, including seminal landscape works by Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Harry Callahan, Richard Misrach, Minor White, and others. It serves as a comprehensive catalog of significant pictorial works documenting American national parks from early influential photos through the 1980s.
