This work, accompanying an exhibition, celebrates the artistic legacy of photographer Pierre Jahan. The book presents a selection of approximately one hundred prints from the 1930s to the 1960s, highlighting Jahan's ability to move between spontaneous humor and serious metaphorical themes. By weaving together diverse series—including portraits of women, nocturnal cityscapes, and experimental laboratory techniques—the publication offers a comprehensive look at an artist who treated photography as a way of living rather than a mere technical exercise.
