Oliver Frank Chanarin is een Britse kunstenaar en fotograaf, geboren in Londen. Hij maakte meer dan twee decennia deel uit van het artistiek duo Broomberg & Chanarin tot hun samenwerking in 2021 eindigde. Zijn werk kenmerkt zich door een openheid voor experiment en collaboratie, waarbij vaak kritische toe-eigeningen van fotojournalistiek centraal staan die resulteren in diverse media, waaronder boeken, installaties en robotica. Hij heeft academische posities bekleed als professor fotografie aan de Hochschule für bildende Künste (HFBK) in Hamburg en is medeoprichter van het mastersprogramma fotografie aan The Royal Academy of Art (KABK).^[1,2]
